On my most recent trip to the taxidermist, I was able to photograph the skinning of a fox squirrel. Pretty gross right? Oh and it was, but it was still cool. I chose to photography taxidermy for my photo essay in photojournalism and I'm so glad that I did. The guys there are so awesome and are more than happy to help me out with this project. Not that they have to do much, just their jobs. I have also learned some interesting things while doing this. Maybe a new hobby... maybe not.

To the Taxidermist

Neat. When I was a kid I loved skin'en those little guys. And I would blow up thier lungs like a balloon; it was so freaky. You should try it. Anyway, sounds like you are having fun.
